Not all luxury rental customers wants a limelight grabbing rental auto. Full-size luxury SUVs might be the sanctioned vehicle of 24-inch rentals and subwoofers the size of garbage cans, but most renters are distinctly looking for an elegant interior with allowance for six, a powerful motor and a celebrated brand name. For them, the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class communicates on all counts, yet it also manages to stick to groups or segment by outstanding engineering and polish. Unlike some of the well-known luxury SUVs rentals it competes against, the Mercedes-Benz CL is a crossover SUV, and as such its car-based design leads to improved highway approaches and improved interior packaging. Its drive is truly of a luxury rental, and though its handling is barely up to Porsche rental, the CL is everything considered better than a few of its truck-based SUV rental competitors. And while it doesn't have as much cargo capacity as the Chevrolet Tahoe luxury rental, for example, its power fold-flat third-row seat transforms it from family friendly to essentials hauler that much easier. The luxury rental CL is one of the most expansive luxury crossovers on the market, as its third row is big adequate to accommodate four adults in comfort, something competitors can't claim. The alternate row could use a sliding alignment, however, to permit for more legroom in both the second and third rows. The luxury rental GL provides ample space for baggage, which falls just below truck-based considerable SUVs like the Chevrolet Tahoe and Porsche Cayenne luxury rentals.
